Gallagher Bassett Wins Service Provider to the Industry in the 2017 Australia Insurance Awards

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) have named Gallagher Bassett (GB) as winner in the category of service provider to the industry of the year.

In announcing the winner ANZIIF recognised “with a record 106 submissions into this year's awards, the judges were faced with difficult decisions.”

Managing Director of Australia, John McNamara is ecstatic with the news,

“At GB we passionately strive for professional excellence and take our role in the insurance industry very seriously. We have a real focus on innovation and identifying, assessing and meeting upcoming industry challenges so being named as a finalist in the ‘Service Provider to the Insurance Industry of the year’ category is a tremendous result and a testament of the hard work of the greater GB team”

GB has also had our approach to talent management recognised again, this year coming in second place for the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) 2017 Top 25 Intern Programs list moving up from 8th place the previous year.

Our intern program aims to provide students with an opportunity to work with, and gain firsthand experience with Australia’s leading third-party claims administrator.

The intern program is very much a part of who we are at GB giving the opportunity for great new talent to experience the best of the insurance industry.
